About the night
Seven Italian wines, plenty of food, and your whole evening sorted.
For our next Clarity Guided, we're heading to Italy. We're bringing together six wines from across the country, plenty of Italian food and a knowledgeable wine host to take you through it all.
Expect generous servings of Italian food, from fresh pizza to cured meats, cheeses and antipasti, paired with wines chosen to bring out the best in each other. Everything is included in your ticket, so you can turn up after work knowing the wine, food and evening are taken care of.
Our wine expert will guide you through all seven wines: where they come from, what makes each region distinctive and why certain wines work so well with different foods. You'll taste the pairings for yourself, learn how to recognise different styles and discover a few bottles worth remembering.
By the end of the evening, you'll have a better understanding of Italian wine, know which styles you actually enjoy and feel more confident choosing a bottle next time you're out for dinner.
We're keeping it to just 20 guests, with plenty of time to enjoy the food, ask questions and get to know the people around the table. Come on your own or bring a mate. It's a proper evening out, with the added benefit of learning something useful along the way.
All wine and food is included in the ticket price. Nothing extra to pay on the night.
Two ways to drink with us
Every Clarity event is one or the other. Both are for under 30s, and neither expects you to know anything about wine.
Our socials feel like a great bar night: music, sometimes live, a full room and a party by the end. Each one has a theme and five wines to go with it, and a host who knows their stuff and will happily tell you about any of them. Come on your own, with a plus one or with the whole group chat.
Guided is our smaller, seated format. Around twenty people sit together while an expert opens six wines side by side and talks you through each one: who made it, where it's from and why it tastes the way it does. Every wine is included in your ticket, and you leave knowing more than you came with.
